Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens is located in Nagoya’s Chikusa Ward, which is one of Japan’s largest and most diverse zoological parks.
It opened in 1937 and covers approximately 60 hectares.
The facility combines a zoo, botanical gardens, amusement park, and the Higashiyama Sky Tower.
